Hey everyone, I have an Awesome new idea for a minigame type thing for the INS (Imagine Nation Server), MINECRAFT WARZONE! Oh and btw before I continue, MINECRAFT WARZONE is cooler when you say it in all caps LOL. Anyway MCWZ is as follows:
MINECRAFT WARZONE-
(Requires MC 1.2)
2 Teams-
-Invaders
-Defenders
1 Objective each:
Invaders- Blow up Defender's Fort.
Defenders- Don't let Invaders blow up Defender's Fort
Now in order for MCWZ to work there needs to be some kind of "Reset Command", hopefully there is.
If not, we'll find some way to do it :D.
Map layout-
Invs (Invaders) will spawn on one side of "The Wall" (Descriptions of these places will follow), Dfnds (Defenders) spawn in "Defender's Fort". Every one is given Diamond Armor and Weapons for the duration of MCWZ. After a minute or so an admin will open a door in "The Wall" and the Invs will begin the first part of The Warzone- "The Run", meanwhile the Dfnds will be on the Fort's walls shooting arrows, manning the Arrow Launchers, and the Fire Launchers. Now if any of you have ever played Halo on the Xbox360 then the object and game play of MCWZ is very similar to the Halo gametype, Invasion. And just as fun :D! Anyway, after "The Run" The Invs have to work on their next obstacle: "The Lava Moat"! There is only one way to get across it and only the Invs can use the controls, so that the Dfnds don't run out into "The Run" area and start attacking Invs up close, that wouldn't be too fair :P. Ok so the place where the bridge to cross the moat is will be marked with bows and a large chest filled to the brim with arrows, Invs can feel free to use them to attack Dfnds on the wall. Meanwhile as the rest of the Invs are standing near the the place where the bridge will appear, one of the Invs will go into an outpost looking thing and go all the way inside to the Bridge control room. Once there, the Inv will have to stand on a button which in turn will activate the bridge, allowing his allies to cross the moat. But there is a danger to this, his teammates have to be quick while crossing because while he stands on the button to raise the bridge, he is getting shot by arrow launchers in the walls of the room! Now at this point (Hopefully :P) the rest of the Invs will have crossed the moat. I also have to figure out what I'm going to do about the dude who opens the bridge. I might (If it's possible) make the option to teleport to his team or something, Idk though, maybe Royal can help with all the command things, he seem to be good at them :P. Anyway, once the Invs are across the bridge they will have to deal with their next obstacle: The fort walls! They will have to penetrate the walls. Now there will be more than one way to get into the fort, a secret tunnel that goes underneath it, a ladder that allows the Invs to scale the wall, a secret button opening a secret hole in the wall, etc.! Now once inside the Invs next objective is to get to the dungeon of the fort and light the TNT which will fall down a hole in the ground and explode setting off a chain reaction that will completely destroy "Defender's Fort"! Thus resulting in a win for the Invs! What happens if you happen to die while playing? Dfnds respawn in the room they spawn in, which is now locked, and the Invs respawn where they spawned on the other side of "The Wall", which is closed and locked as well. Also in order for the Dfnds to win all Invs must be eliminated.
And now for the descriptions:
"The Wall"- A giant wall that separates the Invs spawn point and "The Run". When the game begins, "The Wall" will be opened by an Admin and then locked so that if any Invs are defeated they will not be able to rejoin the game.
"The Defender's Fort"- A fort in which the Defenders are defending, LOL. The for is armed with Arrow and Fire Launchers and a lava moat. The one critical design flaw: Its walls are lined with TNT! This is so when the Invs light the TNT in the Fort's Dungeon that the Fort completely explodes. I might add a spectator viewing area for those people who are not currently playing so that they can see if the Invs win :D :P . Also the Fort wall design goes something like this-
|Rock||TNT||Rock|
"The Lava Moat"- Pretty self explanatory :P .
"The Run"- A long stretch of land between "The Wall" and "The Lava Moat" where the Invs will have to run and dodge to avoid Arrows and Fireballs being shot at them by the Dfnds.

ReplyDeleteThis sounds awesome! It would also be cool if the defender team could be given a week or two to make there own base(Within certain rules of course. Like, no more then 64x of obsidian, must have at least one critical weak point, ect... Maybe have two teams make bases, and at the end of the week, they battle! That's a lot of plugins there. I'll see what I can do... but no promises. However, I'm 99% sure I can get the battle plugin running!

DeleteNo no no. :P This is an Idea we can use on a PvP map. The mods I suggested are only, well, suggestions on making it more interesting :P
