...and FAST! Because of swearing and bad language on the server, we are losing people. So far, I'm certain Twister isn't coming back anytime soon, and Catfish sent me mail saying he quits "along with Twister".
And all this for our language! It's a really bad way to lose members. So I need help to find solutions to the problem! I already have a few but maybe you can find more.

I noticed the swearing from the beginning. I am very dissapointed that this is tearing our team a part. To be honest, the swearing is one reason why I hardly go on the server that often. Next time someone swears I will make sure they get in trouble. I think the severe punishment would be a good idea.

Here is my view on this...terrible moment in our history as a team.
ReplyDeleteWhen we first got to MineLife, I noticed that without the LU whitelist, ppl started swearing. I do not like swearing but understand that it is how some ppl talk. So I didn't mention it. However, because of the swearing, MineLife isn't as much fun so I have gone on less and less (among other reasons). But now I am done allowing it to fly bye. I understand that others talk differently (swearing) that me, but when it makes us lose our members, no, our friends, then it must stop. With your permission IN members, I will punish anyone who swears. I will warn someone that they are swearing a few times, but once they continually do it, I will punish.
Remember, the entire reason we founded this team was to have fun. The Imagine Nation mission and purpose is to be fun for all its members. We are going against the team's cause of being if we are causing sadness. This needs to stop or soon I will disappear, and when I disappear, the team will disintegrate. Please, let us stop this path and make sure we are a way of fun for all our members, not sadness that causes quitting!
I will miss Twister and Catfish if they decide to go. I had so much fun with them in LU where I believe the Imagine Nation was going great. But if ppl keep swearing, we will become nothing. I hope, Twister and Catfish, you at least watch IN and when you think we cleaned it of all its ugliness, you consider returning.
I am sorry for speechifying at you guys but this is a serious issue. We either must fix this or face destruction of the fabric of the team itself.

ReplyDelete"Fusion has been an absolute creep to everyone. He just banned both Chrome and myself from the server and the forums. What happened is simple. Chrome went on Navycraft and found her unfinished ship destroyed. Knowing that some of you play on there, she went on NC to ask if anyone knew who did it. Fusion said he did it. Then he jailed Chrome, muted her, then told her to speak, knowing she couldn't. THEN Fusion, Ankarus and Mysterygoo griefed her house right in front of her eyes. THEN they banned her. Then I came on, and kinda flew off the handle at him. I planted TNT all over TF but he banned me before I could light it. Then I went on the forums and abused the cr** out of him for what he did to Chrome. He promptly banned the both of us from the forums and deleted the topic. The server has been shut down indefinitely. Please do something, since now I no longer can."
That was from Boyde, who's now on your forums, and Chrome's his sister. I don't know whats happened, but, the aura of LEGO Universe has left us all...its a sad, sad time...

I intended to get one of those plugins sooner or later. Hoping it would be later, but I guess not. And for Fusion, I see no real way to stop her (him?) for good. She has access the ban, op and jail lists, so she could unban or free herself automatically. I'm also gonna guess you guys tried to talk to her? (If not, try that :P).

Fuse is a guy, LOL. But, um...yeah, he's sorta the leader. And he made sure no-one else had admin access on the forums or the blog; but it also seems that the server hasn;t been on in ages...
