New OP?
I have heard that people are beginning to think Sacha and I aren't on the server enough. I know I don't come on very much and I think Sacha hasn't been on as much as you like. What I am asking is do we need another op to "keep the peace?" Answer in the poll! If you want an op, I guess you can start nomineeing ppl in the comments

DeleteTwister doesn't break the rules, he's a good player on survival, and has little to no reason for Creative. But he doesn't play so much.
Bane himself said he doesn't care so much for keeping the peace as he does building, but I am sure he can respect the no creative rule, and in the old map, he did help people when they needed it. He plays more than twister.
Smart breaks rules a lot and abuses op and doesn't care who has it. Definitely not.
I never broke a rule and hardly get in fights (I got in one), and play a lot. I would also like to help the server, but idk if I want op. (Not that I have a problem with it :P )
Tyro breaks rules and is irresponsible, and may be leaving very soon if he hasn't already. Not him.
Both of Red's siblings are ops if that helps.
Vicotaco does have some issue with murder, and this would be worse with op. But he is helpful. Not him.
Pencil and Phil don't seem to fight and are more quiet members, but still helpful people.
I hope my opinions will help in the nomination.

I honestly have no idea who would be a good OP, but perhaps we could just have mods instead. Mods would have /ban, /kick, /jail, and other commands, but not /gm, or /enchant. It works well on other servers, so we should try it here.

I do believe Sacha can set some commands to admin only if mod won't work.

ReplyDeleteYea I would probably like to be an Op again, but as Ion stated I was really only there for the commands and junk. Although I would help on occasion. Idk. I mean was under the impression that I was only a temp. Op anyway. If I was elected to be an Op again I would take my job more seriously now. But it's your choice guys. I will not vote for myself and I would like to thank Twister for his vote :D.

A good idea. I don't really know how to do the permissions, so if anyone could point me toward a good Youtube video, that could really help. Also, I'd like to point out that I wont be home for the net 5 days and since the server seems offline, I will not be able to restart it. I'm sorry.

DeleteThere is GroupManager or PermissionsEX. Once you choose which one you want, there are some good tutorials on how to do tutorials. You can even put people in groups like new players would have little commands, builders would have building commands, members many commands, mods jail commands, and admins. You can even give permissions to specific players.

7op's server has something like that. You start as guest, then become a Noob. after doing some things, you can earn the right to console commands. (Noobs can tp between worlds and nothing more.) After a few ranks, you even get to use WE. You should go on the server to see what I mean. BTW Tyro plays there.
