The MBs.

Anyone still use the LEGO MessageBoards? I don't but I was curious lol. I'm probably going to post on the site more often since I can't play any games till my laptop is fixed.

  1. Nah I am over LEGO. But I did go on to ask a few questions about LU's closing last night and I will probably keep checking there for an answer.

  2. I was on 2 days ago after not being on for a few months.

  3. I looked in My Posts on the boards and the thing didn't show up. There was no sign of it being approved, rejected, or even pending... I asked them to talk to the developers or somebody important about my question, and maybe they are waiting for a reply or something.

If so, one of two things happen.
    1) They let LU run offline. =D
    2) Shival gets in a bit of trouble for playing LU offline after it ended and putting gameplay videos on youtube. D8

If not, I lose every last bit of respect for LEGO. |P cyclops ftw

    1. Just found something odd and suspicious about LU...

There's a site called Browser Games and my Norton thingeh says it's safe. It has LU available to download now. I didn't look at it much, but it left me with some questions.

      1) Can I play online with this?
      2) Is the download safe?
      3) Does LEGO know about this site?
      4) Is this even legal?

I'd like to hear your opinion on this.

    1. Bane, do you know why they don't have LU open and online without moderation instead of ending it? This is their reason, coming directly from the LU website:
"We thought about that too, but pretty soon you would have been bored playing in the same areas again and again. We decided it was better to stop now, while everyone is still enjoying the game and will leave with good memories." It's just sad to me how little LEGO cares about what the players think.

    2. I know people are mad at Lego but they did what they had to do. I am just glad they didn't get rid of all Legos for good cause I am actually playing way less MC and building on my Lego world more.
      U know who

    3. Smart?

LEGO didn't need to close it. They decided it was a good idea and that it was what was best for the players, and without looking for our opinion. That's just not right. And also, I am over LEGO. LU was the only thing they had that I bothered to look at. And I don't think you can make me change my mind cause I gave ALL my old LEGO's to my cousin a long time ago and my parents would probably go ballistic on me if I decided to get some more sets. XD

BTW it is 2:46 AM and I hear an ice cream truck playing its music outside... it's been playing for several minutes now. Just seems a bit odd to me.

    4. Lol I actually gave up on LEGO before LU started, I only Liked the Bionicle series anyway :P. You know? MegaBloks cleaned their act up a bit and made some Awesome Halo themed sets. You would of course have to be a Halo fan in order to fully understand How good the sets are detail-wise and junk.

    5. Btw Ion, I think that was Red not Smart lol.

    6. Lol same. And I don't care for MegaBloks either, but Halo is still awesome. And it still seems more like Smart to me.

    8. Well, even if you think Lego isn't all that good now at least you have to admit they had a pretty good beginning:
      http://aboutus.lego.com/en-us/news-room/2012/august/lego-group-80-years-video/
Only interesting thing about the video is I think Lego used the d-word

      Red, not Smart

    9. BTW, of course we are made at Lego but they have to make big decisions. I don't think we will completely know all the reasons LU closed but I do think it was either LU or the entire toy industry. Nobody liked Kings but you have to admit many kings helped the country be anarchistic and a barren waste land.

Just give up cause I am gonna keep trying :P

    10. Lol Red, you ca still like LEGO, no is telling you not too XD. Personally? LU closing and Bionicle ending were only half of the reason why I stopped buying LEGOs, the other half is all the storylines now are baby-ish and the formerly cool storys were either ended or babied themselves. LEGO doesn't care about it's teen fans anymore. Or they do but just don't show it. Now read mah post on te home page and answer mah questions :P.

    11. That is about half of why I stopped caring. The other half is because I got bored of playing with my sets several years ago, then I got bored of just building with them. I still have my mindstorms stuff though, cause that's still pretty cool. :P
