Testing out a new idea

Hey guys, IN command (Imagine, Ferf, Ion and I) are discussing a new form of news broadcasting that we think would be interesting to the team. Here is a sample/test video. Please tell us via comments what you think! Please note that this video is accessible to people with the link exclusively. Do not try to search for it on YouTube.

List of known glitches/problems (do not comment on these):
- Resolution low (480p)
- Sound quality lacking
- Video cropped at the bottom (under investigation)
- Slight video lag

    1. The Mac built-in program QuickTime player. Why?
Also, I watched the IN Fireworks video you posted, I really need to know how you filmed it without lag.

      Thanks,

    3. Ok, well since it's not compatible with Mac, I guess I'll keep searching for a better Mac screen recorder. Thanks.

  2. Also, I noticed that the video is cropped at the bottom (hotbar half-cut). If anyone knows why this is happening, please tell me! I'm using QuickTime 10 for Mac.

    Thanks,

    1. I don't know how to help you since I don't have a Mac, but my suggestion is to use FRAPS. It lets you record at 60 FPS with no lag. You can record the full screen or half size and record the game sounds. In addition, FRAPS lets you record sound from an input (microphone) so you can have commentary in your video. The only problem with FRAPS is that it's not free ($37 of US dollars). ):

    2. Read what I wrote above, Fraps is incompatible with Mac. :/

    4. No, Mine it's ok. I got a $30 Mac-compatible screen recorder. I tried it out and it lags significantly less than QuickTime. Thanks anyways though!
