Looking at how the poll is turning out, I see we are most probably sticking with Minecraft. Now here is how I see things:
If we stay with Minecraft I believe a COMPLETE world wipe and Plugin reload are in order. This means I will delete all our worlds completely and download/delete plugins to fit our new needs, which is to be 100% survival. To ensure this, I will only OP myself and Imagine. This will cause less arguing and make sure that everyone is survival at all times.
I think we can stick to one world for the time being. However, there is one thing RuneScape will help us do that Minecraft never will, and thats to regroup, find new members, grow our ranks up once more, since RS is public and our little server in the middle of nowhere is very isolated (and don't suggest we post the IP online, I tried it and I lost Internet for a day because of a hacker).

OK Here's an idea for gaining members. We all advertise the IN site on other servers we play in, like the one Taco and I play on Tekkit with dozens of new members daily and a player capacity of 60.

Remember Ion, the IN Server only has enough capacity for 6 people. And that is less than the number of its own members. I also believe that advertizing on someone elses server in an effort to gain members is a little disrespectful to the Server Admin. Imagine if we went and advertized on the Delta Server and like half of their members left to come on our server, for whatever reason, 1- they probably wouldn't be able to get on our Srv, 2- all the people on our Srv would cause Monumental lag, 3- (And I think Sacha mentioned something like this a while ago) the new members would cause a lot of lag on his internet and the server may be down a lot. Not to mention the fact that these people could be possible hackers. In addition, RS would not allow this to happen as well as the fact that we won't have to virtually depend on Sacha and his internet connection in order to play (Greatly taking a lot of weight off his shoulders). As of now myself and maybe Twist will be moving to RS, But I will probably most definitely move. I would really like it should you guys join me on RS, Because as I have been saying, MC has become boring to me. I'll still come on the server every now and again but not as much as I used to. I also understand that you guys Bought MC to play MC forever but remember that you don't have to spend Money on RS. I am, but that is because I was already a member and have member only items. But if you stay a free player you won't have to worry about that. I am also not encouraging you guys to buy a membership on RS. Because as I said, once you become a member with allthe additional features and junk, you can't really go back. As I said before I promise you that it won't kill you to try the game. And if it does then... That's just crazy and I'm sorry. LOL.

Additionally, in the RS F2P you pretty much get most of everything you would get in the Full game, minus a TON of additional quests The full world and a couple skills. Don't hate on the game until you try the game. <-- That pretty much applies to Tyro Mostly. I have seen through his comments that he is criticizing the game and has probably not even played it. On another note, RS, unlike MC is NOT focused on building. Unless of course, as I stated on another post, you buy a membership. Then you can unlock the construction skill and build a house. Now you can't build a house like in MC, you buy rooms, and get materials to build furniture, that are in pre-determined spaces. But unlike MC, all furniture you put down is interactable. You can light fires in fireplaces, Battle in combat rooms, build your own dungeon, pet managerie, game room, etc. I'm not forcing anyone to come with me or like the game, But it really is a fun game with TONS to do. I hope more of you will read this and at least try the game. Don't like it? Go right on back to MC. I will not stop you. But I will respect you for attempting to try the game.

The page is kinda wierd, It shows you a "play free now" thing but if you want to see the full website there is a small link somewhere around the bottom of the page. I just wanted to say this incase any of you would want more info or should you have gotten confused thinking that that was the full website. I'm pretty sure there are more people who play RS than MC but I'm not good at math so Idk :P. I think like Over 100,000,000 played RS since launch and like 30,000,000+ bought and played MC from launch. Also, I only brought this up because it is on that page that you go to when you type in the web address I gave above :P. I just thought it was interesting.

IDEA! We play in our MC server and Runescape. Not everyone wants to leave Minecraft, but I know a lot of us also want to try RS. Idk why we had to fight over this when nothing is keeping us from playing both. I realize there may be some players who hardly go on Runescape or Minecraft, but it's much better than having IN break apart over who wants what game.

I think the go to survival idea is great, but I think the worlds should really be:
ReplyDelete1. Main world: survival with nether and end
2. Creative World: I think some people will still want to build. Using multiworld, you can set a flag that people there that you become creative there
3. Minigame world: a seperate world for minigames
4. Space world: Multiworld has a cool planet generator so we could do survival in space
5. Feature: Each week or month you showcase a world you can download that we can also do survival in. We could have less worlds than these if we want
This way we have 1 creative world for those who still want to use creative and world edit maybe. Then we can have minigame world and many survival worlds
Also, there are some useful role-playing plugins if that is where we are going.
Plugins I already know I want is Essentials and WE (if we will have creative allowed in some areas)

I might be on the server like every 2 months if we do that. Which is more than if we didn't do anything because idk why people like Tyro are OP's and swearing etc...
